The Alpha ESS Smile G3-B5 gives you the flexibility to size your system perfectly for your home and expand it later as your energy needs grow. Each battery module stores 10.1 kWh of energy, and you can connect up to six modules in parallel, giving you a total capacity of up to 60.5 kWh.
Unlike smaller battery-only systems, the Smile G3-B5 combines a 5 kW inverter and expandable lithium battery modules in one compact unit.
That means fewer components, cleaner installation, and smarter energy management. All backed by long-term warranties and nationwide installation through Solar Battery Group.
More Power for Modern Homes
The Alpha ESS Smile G3-B5 delivers a 5 kW continuous power output, giving it a noticeable step up in performance compared with the Smile B3 and Smile B3 Plus, which both provide 3 kW. That extra power capacity allows the G3-B5 to comfortably run more appliances at once — for example, your fridge, lights, Wi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher, and entertainment systems — all without drawing from the grid.
While all three models are designed for everyday home use, the G3-B5's higher output makes it especially well suited to medium to large homes or families that often have multiple devices running at the same time. The smaller Smile B3 and B3 Plus are ideal for lower-consumption households or those mainly looking to cover evening loads, but the G3-B5 offers greater headroom and flexibility for homes with heavier or more simultaneous energy use.
It's still not intended to power high-demand appliances like ducted air conditioning or electric ovens entirely from the battery, yet it delivers a strong, consistent supply for your essential daily needs — giving you more freedom to use your solar energy when and how you want.
